Describe Yourself:
James Moylan is one of Australia's most widely ignored cultural commentators. As a novelist, columnist, blogger, graphic artist, and married father of a teenage girl he rates only as a stayer.
History: Political activism, hippiedom, drug use, rampant unbridled hedonism, and most of the other social evils that used to beset our country, completely devoured Mr Moylan's youth. (Damn!)
After training in Anthropology and Communications this already unstable individual set off into the distant hills of North Queensland muttering something about 'mapping all the holes in the ground'. He wasn't seen again for nearly ten years. Then, about 1994, the world got all serious, he got a job, settled down, and became dull.
